Our life since 2006

Jenn and I were married on June 1st, 2006.  We lived and worked in Sandy, Utah for the following year before moving up to Logan to attend Utah State.  While in Logan, Jenn worked as a massage therapist at the GQ salon, while also working at the Walmart Service desk.  I worked at a Logan River Academy, and later at Taco Time. We bought our first home in Logan, a townhouse on the south end of the valley.

Attending USU, I majored in Journalism and Communications, and Jenn went back to school to earn a degree in Elementary Education.  We went to school and worked for 2 years, before something happened that changed all of our plans.  Jenn was pregnant.  We found out in December of 08 that we would be having a baby, and starting to plan accordingly. Schedules would be crazy, but we had friends and family we knew would help us.  A few months later we found out that we would be having a baby boy, and I couldn't have been more excited.  On September 14th, 2009 Tucker David Romriell was born.

Our lives have changed quite a bit since Tucker came around.  You honestly can't realize how much work and dedication it takes to be a parent, until you actually are.  Luckily, we had jobs that were somewhat flexible, and allowed us to continue going to school after Tucker was born.  We never would have been able to do any of it without help from my sister Melissa and her husband Steve.  They helped babysit Tucker weekly, and sometimes several times a week during his whole first year.  It was great to have them so close, and so willing to help us out.

Around a year after Tucker was born, we moved down to Draper, and I transferred from Utah State to the University of Utah.  Tucker has grown so fast, and I hope this blog will help replace my inadequacy when it comes to writing in a journal.

Here are some pics from our time up in Logan, as well as Tucker's first year

Our life to follow.
